„Felt shift“, a term deriving from the ‚Focusing‘ theory, refers to the feeling that flows through the body when mental tension is suddenly released. I relate that experience to the context of rigid gender binaries and the liberating feeling that comes with the realization of the fluidity of gender identity and sexuality
At the same time, the photos play with associations of urban advertising aesthetics, ironizing the commodification of the human body through which the body itself turns into an advertising surface.
